About Us
A nonprofit 501c3 fully certified and professional volunteer Search and Rescue Emergency Response Te Alaska Search and Rescue Emergency Response Team, commonly known as ASARERT, was established in 2020 and is a ground-search team based out of Fairbanks, Alaska. The team is composed of un-paid volunteers that have training, experience, and equipment necessary for search & rescue operations in Interior Alaska for both people and animals. ASARERT is a registered non-profit service organization all team members are from the Fairbanks community. ASARERT serves as an un-paid auxiliary to the Alaska State Troopers to augment their departmental search and rescue efforts.

Our team was established in 2020 and although we seem new our members have over 20 years experience combined and we are based out of Fairbanks and work within our community as well as all over the state of Alaska. We specialize in search management emergent volunteer management and fast response. We handle searches and rescues as well as disasters or other emergencies in our communities and are always striving for professional excellence.
