Home Poker Run 2024 Resources Past Events Gallery Contact More ABOUT Justen was a combat engineer in the Marine Corps that served on two combat tours in Afghanistan. After an honorable discharge in 2013 Justen struggled with PTSD and transitioning to civilian life. In September 2016 he died by suicide leaving behind a loving family and then six year old daughter. The Justen Caris Memorial Foundation is a 501c3 established in 2022 with the goal to support veterans in crisis by raising awareness of PTSD providing financial assistance and connecting veterans with local veteran centered resources.
