Best Practices: Reduce Lawn Size TIP: Transition part of your lawn to a more natural landscape using wildflowers, shrubs, and groundcover plants. WHY: Lawns require fertilizers and water that can lead to nutrient pollution. Native plants need less maintenance and reduce runoff.
