Through exhibits, tours, festivals and educational programs for children and adults, the Foundation opens a window to the past by depicting the historical development of downtown San Diego.  The Foundation operates the oldest standing building downtown, the Davis-Horton House Museum in the Gaslamp Quarter. It was built by William Heath Davis and home to Alonzo Horton, the two Founding Fathers of San Diego. It is a repository of artifacts, photos and archives that are preserved for residents and visitors throughout the world.
