Girls Rock Bloomington The mission of Girls Rock Bloomington is to teach positive selfesteem and selfexpression through music education and mentoring to girls trans and nonbinary youth ages 814 through our annual summer camp workshops afterschool programs and more. At GRB we believe music can be a powerful tool for selfexpression and empowerment. Participants ages range from 814 which are pivotal years for building confidence and community. For many of our participants this is one of the first times they are able to express themselves in a creative and collaborative environment let alone have the opportunity to try out a new instrument.
