The Bordens Marsh Foundation has the express dedicated purpose of preserving and propagating American history, which naturally includes African American history, through education programs offered at a Virginia Historic Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. Each session is presented by a prominent historian, offered to the public free of charge and open to students of all ages. General format is a lecture followed by a question and answer session. Learning sessions on documented history offer opportunities to examine the truth about our nation's past, analyze problems, and promote greater understanding.
