Miamibloco: Samba Percussion NPO The one nightonly show presented by Miamiblocos villagesize Samba percussion ensemble returns to the iconic Miami Beach Bandshell on Saturday May 24th at 7pm. Featuring over 60 percussionists on stage the Bateria collaborates across Afrodiasporic rhythms from Gnawa to Rock creating iconoclastic genrebending tunes that embody traditional rhythms from Brazil and Miamis eclectic music scene. The journey to this epic show every Memorial Day weekend begins with weekly rehearsals that the band opens to the public creating a BTS experience community activation every Monday night at Magic 13 Brewery 7pm10pm. Join Miamibloco for this years season from March 10th weekly on Mondays until the final show on Saturday 5.
