Friends of Golden Pond Fostering confidence courage and an appreciation for the outdoors for both youth and adults. Golden Pond is owned and operated by Friends of Golden Pond a public charity dedicated to promoting leadership and youth development through safe affordable camp experiences. Situated on 55 acres of forest in Petersburg PA Golden Pond is a perfect retreat for numerous occasions including youth programs weddings business and corporate picnics home school programs and of course camping. Our sevenacre lake is perfect for canoeing archery is provided with a certified archery facilitator and our overnight units consist of lodges and cabins that include electricity refrigeration flush restrooms and a fire pit.
