NC MedAssist is a statewide pharmacy program providing access to lifesaving prescription medications to low-income, uninsured North Carolinians. NC MedAssist is a statewide nonprofit pharmacy providing prescription medicine to uninsured, low-income residents at no cost. Through our Free Pharmacy Program, OTC Free Store, and Mobile Free Pharmacy events, we are dispensing hope across NC. NC MedAssist’s mission is to assist low-income, uninsured North Carolina residents by operating a licensed pharmacy that provides free medications, healthcare advocacy and related educationalservices. NC MedAssist seeks to improve the health and lives of low-income individuals familiesby providing free medications and high quality pharmaceutical services to the uninsured.
