Here at Friends of Faye we have taken in quite a few French Bulldogs lately and this little Buttercup is one of them; the sweetest pup, such a loving pup. We found her a FANTASTIC home, but Buttercup needs our help again. Settled in with her new family, mom noticed that she was struggling to hold down her food. As she was newly adopted, we did not hesitate to get her into our partner vet, @stoneridgeveterinary, where it was determined that little Buttercup needs "soft palate surgery." This procedure involves surgically removing excess tissue from the soft palate to improve breathing and quality of life. Frenchies, among other short snout breeds, are commonly affected by this issue. Thursday is surgery day for Buttercup. We are reaching out asking for a little help to offset the costs of this procedure. It is the right thing to do for Buttercup. Her family simply adores her and we want her to have her best life with not only her humans, but her new BIG dog brother, her sibling cat and another friendly Frenchie that comes to visit. THANK YOU!
