We have a plan! Join us to help create the future! Preserving this important history for the nation is essential to training present-day soldiers, educating the public, and preparing young Americans for service across our communities in the twenty-first century.
Signal and Cyber Museum Society (SCMS) DBA FGHMS
The Signal and Cyber Museum Society (SCMS), doing business as FGHMS, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the United States. The society is dedicated to preserving the history of the U.S. Army's Signal Corps and the newly established Army Cyber Corps. Its mission includes commemorating the service of individuals within these corps and fostering education about their contributions.
Purpose and Activities
The SCMS serves as a volunteer-driven community committed to securing a permanent home for the museum. This home will house historical artifacts and serve as a center for historical preservation and education. The society's goals include the establishment of exhibits and public outreach programs aimed at educating the public about the history and significance of the Signal and Cyber Corps.
Funding and Support
To achieve its objectives, the SCMS relies on donations and fundraising efforts. As of recent updates, the society has received substantial financial support, with over $250,000 already donated towards its goals. However, it continues to seek additional funding to complete its mission, with a broader goal to secure a $1 million budget for purchasing and establishing the museum facility.

The SCMS has a tiered sponsorship program, recognizing donors at various levels, including founding sponsors like Patricia Frost, who has pledged significant contributions. Other sponsors and supporters are recognized at levels such as Antietam ($25K+), Gettysburg ($10K+), and Normandy ($7.5K+). These contributions are vital to advancing the society's mission and establishing a comprehensive museum facility.
Tax-Deductible Donations
As a 501(c)(3) public charity, donations to the SCMS are tax-deductible, allowing contributors to support the organization's efforts while also receiving tax benefits. The society's efforts are supported by a diverse group of individuals and organizations committed to preserving military history and promoting public awareness of the Signal and Cyber Corps' achievements.
