Donate Who We Are Back Step Strays is a 501c3 animal welfare organization rooted in a passion for rescuing rehabilitating and rehoming abandoned neglected and stray animals in our community. Founded by dedicated volunteers we are committed to reducing animal overpopulation and providing a safe haven for vulnerable animals in need. Our journey began with a few strays who found refuge on our back steps and since then we have grown into a compassionate network striving to give every animal a chance at a loving permanent home. Our Mission Our mission is to provide compassionate care and promote responsible pet ownership fostering a supportive network of education and advocacy that benefits both animals and people.
