Why Pinchgut Creek Matters Pinchgut creek is rich in biodiversity and provides habitat for many of the same fish and turtles that are found in the Cahaba River. This small waterway should be cared for because of its value as a tributary and because of the beauty that it adds to the heart of downtown Trussville.
