Hospitality Pathways
Hospitality Pathways’ mission is to assist members of marginalized communities in gaining in-demand job skills that lead to sustainable employment, livable wages, and future growth opportunities, within the restaurant, hotel, retail and cannabis industries. For students from disenfranchised populations with a strong desire to develop soft skills and niche expertise (restaurants, cannabis), we provide a pathway to employment through our training programs. Hospitality Pathways specifically targets populations that would not necessarily have access to this high level of training. As the cannabis industry expands, we work to find and leverage economic opportunities for the communities that have been disproportionately harmed by cannabis criminalization and inequitable law enforcement.

Hospitality Pathways Creating Careers in Hospitality by Training the Next Generation of Hospitality Professionals Mission statement Hospitality Pathways mission is to empower individuals with the essential job skills required for sustainable employment livable wages and career growth within the cannabis industry regardless of their zip code. We are committed to serving populations that typically lack access to highlevel training particularly in the emerging cannabis sector in New York State. By merging hospitality training with comprehensive cannabis education we aim to create experts who can effectively communicate cannabis science to new guests. Our goal is to ensure businesses have knowledgeable staff capable of connecting guests with the right products fostering positive customer experiences and building lasting customer loyalty.
