This past Friday, a moving dedication ceremony marked the unveiling of the California Gold Star Families Memorial Monument at the Richard A. Pittman VA Clinic in French Camp. This powerful tribute honors the families of fallen service members who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. United Way of San Joaquin County proudly served as the fiscal sponsor for the dedicated committee that worked tirelessly for four years to bring this monument to the French Camp Veteran’s Medical Center. In partnership with the Woody Williams Foundation, veterans’ organizations, and community donors, this memorial now stands as a lasting place of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance. 🇺🇸💛 In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed today.
