All Kind is a non-profit organization that seeks to improve animal welfare in the city of Abilene by building a new animal shelter facility, decreasing homeless pet overpopulation through accessible spay/neuter programs, increasing pet retention through expanded foster programming and adoption events, and offering greater education and resources through community outreach.

All Kind and the City of Abilene After successfully negotiating a unique and innovative contract with the City of Abilene All Kind began to manage the Abilene Animal Shelter on January 1 2023. On October 14 2024 All Kind moved the shelter to the new stateoftheart Pet Adoption Resource Center at 610 ES 11th St. Come visit us.
