USDA's Local Agriculture Market Program supports the development, coordination, and expansion of direct producer-to-consumer marketing, local and regional food markets and enterprises, and value-added agricultural products. Two different grant programs are available under this program, both with applications due June 27, 2025. The Farmers Market Promotion Program offers $11 million in matching funds for capacity building, community development training and technical assistance, and turnkey projects. Eligible applicants include agricultural businesses and cooperatives, CSA networks, food councils, and more. The Local Food Promotion Program offers matching funding for 24-month Planning, 36-month Implementation, 24-month Turnkey Marketing and Promotion, and 24-month Turnkey Recruitment and Training projects.
