Crafted from porcelain clay and wire, ‘Shore Encounters’ by artist Helen Duncan was awarded the Ruth Susan Westheimer Prize for Fine Craft in this year’s Biennial. Juror Francine Weiss described the work as an exceptional contribution to the show, and noted the piece's playful and kinetic elements that evoke "visions of the heavens and the sea." The Twenty-First ArtsWorcester Biennial will be on view through June 29.
