Documentary Film Fund
Reconstructing The Piccirilli Story with the support of the Documentary Fund. We produce documentaries that inspire reflection on values and beliefs, fostering meaningful conversations and deepening our understanding of history and culture. Our mission is rooted in the advancement of education and science, and the promotion and development of the arts through the production of documentary films and exhibits. To fulfill this purpose, we are committed to supporting projects that amplify the voices of artists who have been overlooked or relegated from public recognition and mainstream media. Guided by this vision, we have supported films that celebrate underrepresented figures in the arts, including Julius J. Lankes, a pioneering woodcut artist who collaborated with Robert Frost and Sherwood Anderson and was a key figure in the Arts and Crafts Movement in America. We also contributed to a documentary on composer and conductor Alice Parker, a trailblazer in choral music with hundreds of compositions to her name.
