International Community Services
ICS became involved with children in the Philippines in 1991 as a result of the U.S. base closings. We pay tuition directly to the schools of the children in our programs. The last group of kids will graduate from college the Spring of 2007. We receive text books from school districts in the U.S. and distribute to kids in the Philippines from K through HS. We emphasize to the children in our programs that getting an education as the path to fulfilling one's dreams and to escape the local poverty.
