Our Mission: To become the first permanent resource center to provide counseling, testing, workshops and resources for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Santa Ynez Valley. The Rainbow House was founded out of the realization that living in a small town highlights the need for visibility for the LGBTQIA+ community. In facing discrimination and injustices within the beautiful backdrop of the valley, we realized that beauty could mask something harmful. Our hope is that we can create a refuge for the queer community that stands as a beacon of acceptance and peace.
