One day while in a bookstore, Chad Stafford saw a book entitled One Month to Live which asked the question “What would you do if you knew you just had 30 days to live?" With tears streaming down his face, Chad whispered “I would go home to Daphne, plant a church, coach those Trojans, and live the rest of my life knowing that I was the most blessed man on the planet."So began Coastal Church.The church started on January 10, 2010 with 58 people meeting in Daphne Elementary School. Since that time, our church has seen thousands give their lives to Christ, over 2,000 people call Coastal Church home on weekly basis, and Coastal Church has grown to four campus locations.One synonym for the word coastal is “outward." Coastal Church has stayed true to its name. We've garnered a reputation in the community for our generosity, creativity, and hospitality. We extend our doors wide open to unbelievers and people new in the faith and we have garnered the reputation as being "the church for the rest of us."If you are new to the area, are looking for a church, have never been active in a church, or are not sure how you feel about the whole “faith" thing, we would love to have you here. Coastal Church was started with you in mind.Let's create a new culture together!Our campuses are presently located in Daphne, Bay Minette, and Gulf Shores, Alabama. Our Daphne campus features a community park with a baseball field, basketball courts, playground, walking trail, splash pad and full-service, open to the public cafe. We believe strongly in community - loving, reaching, and serving our community. Our motto is "the Gulf Coast will be Saved!"
