World Trails Network

The World Trails Network - Hub for the Americas (WTN Americas) coordinates the Pan American Trail Network (PanATN), working with trails organizations and government agencies to support recreational trails throughout the Americas and the Caribbean, Alaska to Patagonia. The PanATN facilitates and supports trail projects and programs that highlight the role of trails in conservation, economic development, healthy living, sustainable transport, and sharing and protecting cultural and natural heritage sites. These include trail maintenance and construction, backcountry education, skills training, research, internships, college semester field courses, and trail expeditions that share trails and provide volunteer opportunities.
