Home - Northwoods Veterans Homestead
NVH is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization designed to help homeless veterans become self-sufficient again. Help Wisconsin's homeless veteran population through creating a veteran specific housing community, comprised of 16 tiny homes, a community center and personalized programming at no cost to the veteran. Foundational programming includes instruction on essential life skills, counseling services, medical care, legal assistance and job placement among others.

Tiny homes for homeless veterans Transforming the lives of homeless veterans in Northern Wisconsin Northwoods Veterans Homestead is a 501c3 nonprofit organization formed to help Wisconsins homeless veterans population. The United States Interagency Council on Homelessness reported that 337 veterans experienced homelessness in Wisconsin during 2020. Currently only one veteranspecific homeless shelter operates in the state situated in Racine as Veterans Outreach of Wisconsin. Racine is located in the southeastern part of the state.
