Our Story Inspired by the incredible legacy and stories of Ronnie Sherrills humble spirit and heart of service the Friends Foundation of the Carolinas initially named The Ronnie Sherrill Project was founded by friends to help friends in need. We create and foster a community to enrich the lives of those with neuromuscular disease. We serve the greater Charlotte area including the North Carolina counties of Mecklenburg Union Stanly Cabarrus Rowan Iredell Catawba Lincoln Gaston Cleveland and the South Carolina counties of York Chester Lancaster.
