Baxter Park Wilderness Fund Trust Protecting the legacy of Governor Percival Baxter and Baxter State Park. One man had a mission. Inspired by Percival Baxters extraordinary gifts to the people of the State of Maine Frank Trautmann established a fund in 2007 to support the operations of the magnificent wilderness known as Baxter State Park. Our History The Baxter Park Wilderness Fund Trust was the brainchild of Frank and Margery Trautmann of Isleboro and Rockport Maine.
