In 1975, a handful of neighborhood advocates from around Denver, CO began to meet. After three years of informal meetings and networking, the organization of Denver neighborhood groups known as the Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation (INC) was incorporated with a formal set of by-laws. The basis for INC is a belief that neighborhood organizations deserve a greater role in participating in city government and that individual neighborhoods are stronger when they work together and learn from one another.INC is an all-volunteer organization. For 31 years, we have persevered because of the dedication of thousands of civic-minded individuals.What Does INC Do?
