B8 Official page for B8 Theatre Company, performing in the San Francisco Bay Area The Mission of B8 Theatre Company is to provide audiences a fresh take on established plays, and foster the creation and production of new works. Our Vision is to present audiences with new interpretations of established works, and to pioneer new theatrical creations. Our productions aim to take an inter-sectional look at the works we explore - examining perceptions of gender, race, class, age, sexual orientation, and abilities within the framework of the play and the larger context of society as a whole. We strive to create an immersive, inclusive environment for our patrons, believing the audience’s involvement is an integral part of every production.

Jack is in love with Algernons cousin Gwendolenbut Gwendolen only knows him as Ernest. Algernon falls in love with Jacks young ward Cecily who assumes he is Jacks invented brother Ernest. Both young ladies are infatuated with the idea of loving a man by that name.
