PCMNY is a region of Pax Christi USA, a chapter of the international Catholic peace movement, spreading the peace of Christ through prayer, study & action. Pax Christi Metro New York (PCMNY) was founded in 1983. We are a regional section of Pax Christi USA (PCUSA), and a member of the International Catholic Peace Movement. Dedicated to Gospel nonviolence and Catholic social teachings on peace and justice.

In prayer we receive strength and support to sustain us as we make peace in our hearts which must happen before we can follow the Spirit to peace in our Church and world. STUDY Waging peace demands an understanding of the complex world in which we live. We are committed to educating ourselves and our community in a variety of ways.
