Cancellation - Camp Independence, San Antonio, Texas camp for diabetic kids Dear Camp Family The Board of Directors of Camp Independence of San Antonio Inc. has determined that the weeklong all volunteer day camp for children with diabetes mellitus can no longer fulfill its goals established in 2000. As a result the Board has elected to discontinue the summer day camp program and terminate the organization as a 501c3 corporation. The Board wishes to thank all the faithful volunteers for their commitment of time and talent to our mission.
