Since 1946, TVPPA has united the voices of the 153 local power providers that serve more than 10 million people across the seven-state Tennessee Valley region. THE PURPOSE OF THE ASSOCIATION IS TO REPRESENT THE COMMON INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS TO TVA, TO PROMOTE THE COMMON INTERESTS AND EFFICIENCIES OF ITS MEMBERS AND TO PROMOTE THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPOMENT OF ITS MEMBERS' EMPLOYEES.
