HunTherapy officially began in May 2022 with its inaugural deer hunt alongside a Navy Veteran but its roots trace back to its founders childhood. In addition to his servicerelated moral injuries Carter experienced adverse childhood experiences. Even as a young boy he realized the healing properties of bike riding exploring nature and sports.
