Home How It Works Member Vets Success Stories About More Welcome to Scout39s Fund We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor the special bond between pet owners and their dogs by providing crucial medical care to avoid euthanasia abandonment or surrender. Working with veterinarians in midcoast Maine we identify dog owners who are facing financial hardship and are unable to provide medical care to significantly extend and create a high quality of life for their pet. How It Works Pet owners must reside in midcoast Maine Lincoln Knox or Waldo county and have a Scout39s Fund Network Member as their primary pet care provider. Funding goes directly to the participating veterinarian providing the care and treatment.
