Congratulations to TFI advisory board member and curator Catherine Morris on the opening of, "Nancy Elizabeth Prophet: I Will Not Bend an Inch", now on view at the Brooklyn Museum through July 13, 2025. This retrospective exhibition honors the legacy of a sculptor whose masterful works in wood and marble defied the constraints of race, gender, and history. From Parisian salons to shaping the next generation of artists, Prophet’s impact is undeniable.
