Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County builds simple, decent houses in partnership with people in need. We are a Christian housing ministry partnering w Habitat For Humanity of EJC builds and repairs homes and hope. Seeking to put God’s love into action Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Our vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat invites people from all faiths and walks of life to work together in partnership, building houses and community with families in need. As of 2023, Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County has built almost 70 homes. We have recycled homes 11 times, and performed critical repairs for low-income homeowners throughout the county, since its founding in 1998.
