C.A.R.E. is a non-profit, foster based, animal rescue in Columbus, IN. 🫶🏻🐾❤️ Community Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) is a 501-C-3 non-profit and all volunteer/foster-home based animal rescue located in Columbus, Indiana. C.A.R.E. works to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education and responsible pet adoptions. Our generous foster home volunteers ensured that C.A.R.E. could take into our rescue and adopt out more than 500 animals so far this year. Donations to C.A.R.E. help to make sure C.A.R.E. is: (1) able to continue to care for so many animals in need (including many with special medical needs); and (2) able to continue to offer a low cost spay/neuter option to our community. We promote spaying and neutering as the way to relieve the number of animals entering our local shelters and administer low cost spay/neuter clinics twice every month. Last year, due to the tireless efforts of our superstar volunteers, C.A.R.E. was able to provide over 1,200 community members with a low cost spay/neuter surgery for their pet.
