Southeastern Sommelier Society Southeastern Sommelier Society Dedicated to Education Scholarships and Professionalism Serving the Southeast Dedicated to Education Scholarships and Professionalism Serving the Southeast A Society of Professionals The Southeast Sommelier Societys mission is to advance the knowledge of professionals in the wine and hospitality trade through educational seminars tastings and enrichment trips domestic and abroad. All of our funding comes via product donations as well as financial contributions from generous members of our community. And thanks to their contributions wine education and enrichment opportunities are provided at no charge to the applicant. Scholarships may be also given to qualifying individuals to help pay for examinations for certification to develop their skills and expertise in our professional field.
