Well - it was a crazy Tuesday! I am out of town on my annual beach vacation (yes, I’m having fun) and Ted got into a car accident (yes, he’s okay.) So it was an evening of stepping up and getting things done!!! Thank you to Cindy for picking up fifty Costco pizzas for dinner and to all of Lyn’s team for providing the fruit and desserts! We served 195 people….. Unfortunately, the heat is upon us and we had two individuals who needed medical attention. One volunteer had heat exhaustion and one of our guests had heat stroke. HELP! We have a mom of three who is in a program. She has to show that she has a job offer by 5/30 or she’ll be kicked out and homekess with her kids. She’s applied to many places, but her issue is she can only work 7-5pm because of daycare/school hours. I will personally vouch for her character and work ethic. She lives in Scottsdale, but has a vehicle so she can travel. Kids are in school in Mesa. If anyone has any job possibilities, please reach out! (fb)
