Mid Missouri Malamute Rescue dba Decator's Place
Decator's Place is an animal rescue specializing in helping and homing Alaskan Malamutes. Our mission has many aspects. First and foremost we rescue Alaskan Malamutes, and Alaskan Huskies. We assess their needs and give them whatever veterinary care, or training they may need, then, after we feel we know the dog, we find them the best home that we possibly can! Our secondary mission is helping Malamutes, and Huskies that have been abused, or have personality traits that make them unadoptable, and would have led to them being euthanized. We always prefer to rehab and find a loving home, but sometimes that is just not possible, so they become a part of Decator's Place and are treated like family, in order to live their best life right here. We also work to educate people about the breeds, and work to encourage spaying and neutering's due to rampant breeding.
