Ending Family Homelessness for Good. Founded in 1892, Wellspring is a multi-service nonprofit agency serving low-income and vulnerable families, individuals, and children in the Puget Sound region, most of whom are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our mission is to end the cycle of family homelessness. We envision a world in which every child has a safe and stable home. We offer a range of services aimed at addressing the root causes of family instability and crisis such as homelessness. We focus on mitigating the traumatic effects that adverse childhood experiences have on families and the generational cycles of homelessness they create. Our work has a two-generation approach—strengthening adults while also strengthening children—so families can overcome crises to find housing and lasting stability.

Home - Wellspring Ending Family Homelessness For Good Wellspring Family Services exists to end family homelessness by preventing it before it happens and intervening early when it does. One in 20 children in Washington state is experiencing homelessness And the impact is lifelong. Kids who experience homelessness are 10 times as likely to become homeless again as adults which means their own children may also experience the trauma of insecure housing. With your help we can break this cycle.
