An organization dedicated to great music of all ages, and a beloved choral tradition in New York City THE AMOR ARTIS CHAMBER CHORUS HAS BEEN A PART OF THE NEW YORK CITY MUSICAL SCENE FOR MORE THAN SIXTY YEARS. ADVANCING ITS MISSION TO ILLUMINATE THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN RENAISSANCE, BAROQUE AND CONTEMPORARY COMPOSERS, THE CHORUS PERFORMS A WIDE RANGE OF CLASSICAL AND CONTEMPORARY WORKS JOINED BY SOME OF THE CITY'S PREMIER INSTRUMENTALISTS. THE GROUP PIONEERED THE PERFORMANCE OF EARLY MUSIC WITH PERIOD INSTRUMENTS, HAS COMMISSIONED NEW WORKS AND PREMIERED OTHERS.
