LOCAL 5124 IN THE NEWS Twitter Facebook Instagram Local 5124 in DC Two of our members attended the IAFF Legislative Conference to lobby on behalf of fire fighters and fire fighter issues including PFAS contamination cancer coverage for line of duty deaths and fire fighter free speech. President Biden addressed the conference and told personal stories of his local fire department in Delaware assisting his family before outlining laws signed this past year to assist firefighters with cancer and protect them from PFAS in firefighting foams and bunker gear.
