As heatwaves become more frequent and intense, protecting those working in outdoor environments is more important than ever. An awareness session was organized for 40 L&T field site incharges at Delhi Aerocity, with support from HCLFoundation. The session focused on: 🔸 Understanding the dangers of extreme heat 🔸 Identifying early signs of heat-related illnesses 🔸 Learning simple but critical first-aid and prevention measures To reinforce the learning, workers received #IEC materials covering heat stress, alcohol risks, hygiene, sanitation, and #NCD prevention. #ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution) packets were also distributed to promote hydration and help prevent heat-related dehydration. The interactive session encouraged active participation, with workers asking insightful questions and sharing positive feedback. Many expressed that they now feel better equipped to handle extreme heat at the workplace.
