HELP OUR KIDS INC
We are a non-profit organization that provides kids in foster care in the western MA area with goods and services that help them feel like their peers. HelpOurKids, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) registered organization serving the needs of children in foster care in the Springfield, MA area. HelpOurKids was founded to enrich the lives of children in foster care in western Massachusetts. Children in foster care often feel different from their classmates because of their situation and HelpOurKids works to make them feel more like their peers and part of their community. We do this through our varied programs including Trashbags to Duffle Bags, The Pen Pal Project, our annual College Tour, the Book Bundle and Literacy Project, and through the fulfillment of specific requests. Our signature event is the annual Fitting For The Future at which we provide special event clothing and accessories to kids in care.

Home, HelpOurKids Believe We Are HelpOurKids I decided to start HelpOurKids because I realized that there was a glaring gap in the already difficult lives of kids in the foster care system. Many foster parents are angels disguised as regular people but very often have limited resources. As a result theres often too little time and money to help provide children in foster care with much besides the basics. But its those extras that your kids and mine probably take for granted and yet enable them to feel positive about themselves and ultimately help them realize their full potential.
