Home - The Jay & Sylvia Foundation Transforming The Quality Equity of Education to All Our Vision Education is the Great Equalizer With the motto Education is the Great Equalizer at the helm the Jay and Sylvia Sobhraj Foundation seeks to unlock the potential in every individual by partnering with NonGovernment and Government organizations in communities in New York and Guyana. The foundation strives to diversify its work to include development in education community programming technology and mental health. Specifically the foundation has focused its time and resources on building and sustaining centers to offer free programs in Information Technology afterschool tutoring SAT prep classes mental health and career development. It has also provided scholarships financial aid and sports equipment to individuals and communitybased organizations.
