Salt Lake Education Association | SLEA Salt Lake Education Association Urgent Action Needed. HB267 Referendum Initiative During the 2025 legislative session a bill with very low public support HB267 passed and was signed by Governor Cox. This bill strips away the collective bargaining rights of teachers and other public workers. This cannot stand.
