Emmaus Clinic Providing healthcare in Haiti since 2010 Some encouraging news is there is now a provisional Haitian government and a Prime Minister The political situation in Haiti remains dire but I want to start with some positive updates 2023 was a difficult year but by Gods grace we are moving forward It is still not safe for the people of Duval to return to their homes and fields Gangs in Haiti have caused havoc throughout the country As some of you may be aware Haiti is experiencing a humanitarian crisis of unprecedented proportions Current Updates Where we are now In February of 2023 gangs invaded the peaceful agricultural region of Bellevue Mountain. The entire population fled their homes and farms. Many moved to Diegue near Port au Prince. Emmaus Clinic has rented a building in Diegue.
