Join us and give a gift to the oppressed people of Burma that their military government cannot steal from them: education. Believing that the ultimate hope of peace for mankind lies in education, and knowing that many refugees and displaced persons are in a situation in which education is terribly difficult, the Brackett Refugee Education Fund is committed to assisting refugees or displaced persons of any race, nationality or creed, to acquire education. Many refugees have a strong desire to serve their people. We try to help them discover a world beyond the narrow ethnic confines of a refugee camp, and to equip them with the tools and skills to help them serve their people.
