Kathryn Stephenson Pipe Organ Endowment Foundation Incorporation
The foundation perpetuates and curates the Opus 10260 Moller Organ in the performance space in First United Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC. The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization is designed to help underwrite a variety of events that highlight the use of the First United Methodist 1967 J.P. Moller Opus 10260 pipe organ. This organ is a historically and locally unique instrument in construction. The foundation will provide concerts, educational workshops, outreach opportunities and original compositions to the benefit of the Charlotte metro arts community and patrons. This foundation will also help with the costs of continuous maintenance needed for such a grand instrument.
