LEU is a volunteer search and rescue group and supports fire departments and law enforcement in the city of Longmont LEU was organized after 3 small brothers drowned in an area lake and there was no agency to recover their bodies. Their mission is to respond and assist in any emergency situation and to save lives. They assist police and fire departments and other rescue agencies in the hopes of preserving life and property.

What we do ALL VOLUNTEER UNIT Staffed 247 The public is never charged for our services we rely on donations and fundraising to pay for the uniforms supplies training vehicles fuel and other expenses necessary to keep us up and running.
